ABOUT THE JUDGE:
Dr. Dawna Hamm Walsh
"What we do with the gifts of creative and artistic thinking is up to each of us. Creativity in art is the act of turning fresh innovative ideas into physical reality through passion and commitment. Artistic endeavor and creativity involves several processes: inspiration, planning, then birthing the artwork. Imagination is the new idea but persistent production embodies your new idea to carry it over the finish line. If you have ideas but don't act on them, you are imaginative and perhaps a dreamer, but not devoted to the full creative process. If you have artistic gifts but do not act on them, are you true to yourself?" ~ Dawna Hamm Walsh
